getting a Padi Scuba Diving certificate?
i am 16 and am planning on becoming a marine welder after i grad. from high school and i need a diving license and a welding license, i need to know where i can get my open water diving certificate near columbus ohio
You’re going to need a bit more than just a PADI or NAUI cert. You’ll need to have just that to take a commercial dive course with at least restricted scuba on the menu and since you’re there…finish the complete course with surface supplied and graduate. Most commercial schools include basic underwater welding and pipe fitting with their surface supplied course. They may not in their restricted scuba, you’ll have to check with the school you eventually select.

PADI or NAUI..it doesn’t matter. They’re essentially the same qualification wise ( no matter what my esteemed fellow diver from NAUI wants to tell you about impressing people). PADI just happens to have more Dive Shop affiliates world wide and there’s never a problem with having your Cert recognized.
