Cost Of Scuba Gear
I’m Interested in Monofin swimming…beginner help!!?
I live in North Carolina near Raleigh. I have recently found out about monofin swimming and have become interested.
Questions:
Where is the best place to find one in the first place?
Which fin would you recommend for a beginner?
Where to find an instructor, costs included?
Is there any other equipment that I would have to buy other then the general Scuba Gear (pics would be great)?
Will I have to do any measurements before anything else?
I am a total newbie at this, and have little experience in swimming. I can float, and can swim underwater, but not for very long because of breath. I can dog paddle, but not much else. My body type is big-boned, and I am not in the best of shape I could be for a 18 year old who’s 5’6. suggestions are very much welcome. Oh, and I am not the least bit queasy about deep water.

I’d highly suggest that, as I did, that you simply use google to find other information on learning and instructors as people in San Diego aren’t going to know squat about Raleigh.
